On Monday night, my sister stopped in on her return trip from Buffalo to Colorado. We didn't hook up on her way to Buffalo, as I thought she was going to do. She also brought a couple of bags of baby clothes that my parents had. I'd hate to think that these are the same baby clothes that my sister and I wore when we were little.

And I got to see my nieces and nephews again! She has five yellow Laborador retrievers -- their names are Knarley, Dakota, Sierra, Seven [of Nine], and Cirque [du Soleil]. Seven and Cirque are nearly-full-grown puppies; Knarley and Sierra are their parents. My sister, my wife, and I had dinner at Steve Kao's that night, as we usually do. Menawhile, the dogs stayed in the hotel room. There's not enough room in my house for her dogs and our cats. She should be home in Colorado by now.

Speaking of cats.....Oreo just yakked up a piece of foil ribbon. This cat will try to eat almost everything. I call him "the goat cat" because he will chew and nibble on stuff that isn't food. One time he devoured a piece of my wife's crosstitch floss -- he slurped it in like a spaghetti noodle. Wonder if he'll be interested in kitty treats tonight. He LOVES Whisker Lickin's, which we call "kitty cookies".
