I can haz hot water!
Jan. 8th, 2009 10:50 pmI found a place to live in Indy. I'm staying with a New Warrior brother of mine. (Let's call him C.)
Before the Christmas break, C had some out-of-town family matters to take care of. Not knowing when he'd be back in town, C turned down the furnace and hot water heater before he left. I came in on Sunday evening, and turned up the thermostat to 65. I found out on Monday morning that I had no hot water for my shower. So for the past few days I took very brief lukewarm showers. Not fun.
I called him up last night, when I knew he'd be back in town, and asked him about the hot water. That's when he told me he turned it down, and said it was OK for me to turn it back up. This morning, I enjoyed a nice hot shower. Aaahhh.
Work is going OK. We had the kick-off meeting for the next release of the software application my team is developing/maintaining/enhancing.
Shout-outs: Happy birthday
