Fri 11/10: M and I had the day off. Went to the Original Pancake House for breakfast. (She asked the waitress for coffee!) Then we went to the Boonshoft Museum of Natural History for a few hours. Then we went to a United Dairy Farmers for lunch, and then to R's workplace.

On the way there, I saw a man beating up on his girlfriend or wife while they were in their car. The car was sideways to me, so I didn't get a license plate number. She got out, and he followed her in the car. I kept a safe distance, and circled around. On the second pass, I saw her in the car, laying or slumped across the front seat. He was still around, and shouting at me. My window was down, so I didn't hear what he said. I pulled away, turned off on a side street, pulled over to the side, and called 911. I hope she's OK.

After leaving R's workplace, we headed home. By that time, I got a call from my account manager. who had my check, and wanted to give it to me. He met me in front of my home. The check was soon deposited, and we went shopping at Kroger. Men from the local VFW post were collecting for veterans' causes and giving out buddy poppies. M was very fascinated by the buddy poppies, along with the Christmas displays in Kroger. After shopping, we net R for dinner at India Paradise. She had her usual (Chicken Korma), I had Chicken Saag.

Sat 11/11: Woke up early and headed to Columbus for the annual ManKind Project statewide face-to-face business meeting. It was supposed to be at the Clintonville Community Center, but they were closed due to the holiday. I had to go to the bathroom, so I went to the Micro Center on Bethel Rd. to go and do some shopping. I also called one of the other men who I knew was going to be there. He told me it was moved to the Grove City Library at the last minute. After finishing my shopping at Micro Center, I went south on the 315 to Grove City. I found the library by sheer luck. It was good to see some of the men I've not seen in a few years.

After the meeting was over, I called [livejournal.com profile] fuzzyvanman and [livejournal.com profile] rms_butterfly to let them know my meeting was over. We agreed to meet at the Half Price Books on Lane Ave., where I did some more shopping. Then we went and hung out at [livejournal.com profile] catsleftpaw's place for a few hours. Dinner was a nice little steak at the Texas Roadhouse on Rome-Hilliard Rd. When we came out, the weather was cold and rainy. I was worried that I'd have to drive home in icy weather. Thankfully, the drive home was uneventful.

Sun 11/12: Another lazy Sunday. Slept in until 9:30. Had goetta and eggs for breakfast. Went to R's place to spend time with the family. We watched "The Little Mermaid" and some of the extras. Dinner was pizza at the local Donato's.
