Now I remember why I don't eat at Captain D's very often. My gut and my esophagus feel like they're on fire. And so I can't sleep.
In the meantime, I take an antacid and log on. And a thunderstorm just moved in. I should just log off and power down. Even though I have a UPS and my phone line is plugged into a surge protector. (Trust me on this. I lost a modem in May of '91 due to a lightning strike.)
Sure wish there was a way to harness all that lightning energy. A bank of fast-charge high-capacity capacitors front-ending a battery, perhaps?
I still hate liquid-concentrate iced tea. It tastes a lot better now than it did a few years ago, but I still prefer the fresh-brewed stuff.

Feel better!

Date: 2005-07-03 04:58 am (UTC)I drink my iced tea without sugar and with lemon, so I can definitely taste the difference. Now, if I add sugar (or for me, Splenda), the liquid concentrate tea tastes much better.
