The icon code......

Finally! Here is the page listing all of my userpics, or icons.
Before LJ had tags, this was how people like me identified classes of posts. The LJ client I use doesn't have tags, which means my posts have gone untagged.
Here are what my icons represent.
JJP is how I look in real life, or how I did when this was taken. I took some test stills of myself while testing some webcam equipment for a past client. We didn't have the necessary bandwidth or speed to have an effective webconference, so the experiment wasn't a success.
South Park Jim came from a icon generator that rendered people as they'd look in the world of South Park.
Marcus is my default icon, and my "alpha male" cat. One evening, I caught him standing on the footboard of my sleigh bed, had my camera in hand, and he wasn't too happy about it. The look can convey a host of emotions.
Oreo is a cat that used to be my wife's. Sadly, he passed away in '04. I still love this shot of him going after a cat treat. I'll use this if I'm posted about something I'd like to get my hands on or desire greatly; i.e. "I wants it, I does, I does!"
Bubastis was my cat from 1990-2002. She was a sweetheart....most of the time. I rarely use this icon, and will probably retire it soon.
Oberheim is the logo from the old Oberheim Electronics, a synthesizer maker in the 70s and early 80s. I'll use this to denote posts about music in general.
Moogerfilker 1 (Front View) was taken by
spiritdance at GaFilk 7. I'll often use it to denote posts about filk or filking or electronic music gear.
Moogerfilker 2 (Back View) was also taken by
spiritdance at GaFilk 7.
Like Moogerfilker 1, I'll often use it to denote posts about filk or filking or electronic music gear.
Zorak is the bandleader on Space Ghost: Coast To Coast, and is one of his arch-enemies. I'll use Zorak when I'm making a snarky or flippant post or comment.
Paz is the little penguin puppet from TLC's "Ready Set Learn!" program, which airs on weekday mornings. I'll use Paz when I'm posting about penguins, FilkOntario, Linux, or something happy.
Foo is from the Canadian childrens' show "Save-Ums!", which airs as part of TLC's "Ready Set Learn!" program. The program is entirely computer-animated. I'll use Foo to denote childrens' programming, be it TV or video.
Fanbladehead is my word to denote the modern-day equivalent of propellorhead, as jet engines don't use propellors. This is an oblique view of the GE90-115B engine, currently rated as the world's most powerful gas turbine engine. I'll use it to denote posts pertaining to high-tech, computers, or aviation.
Kosh is the Vorlon Ambassador on one of my all-time favorite TV shows: Babylon 5. He is inconspicuous, enigmatic, and cryptic. I'll use Kosh when I'm being cryptic, or if I'm discussing Babylon 5.
Vorlon plate
denotes anything related to Babylon 5, or driving. (Yes, that's my real plate. Honk as I pass you, if the red shift doesn't blur me.)
New Warrior will denote anything pertaining to mens' work, specifically, the Mankind Project and the New Warrior Training Adventure.
